But first, coffee! My personal mission in life is to find the best (and strongest) cup of joe on the Westside. Even if you’ve already got a favorite coffee spot, this list could be a valuable asset to you next time you're west of the 405. It was really tricky to just choose five coffee shops! The bigger the list the better in my opinion - just like my cup of coffee. * Sips * let’s dive in!

In no particular order...

Since moving to California, I’ve gotten really into cured meats. It all started with a party platter I got on a whim at a grocery store (and ate by myself) and has progressed into my owning a bandana covered in little hams and sausages and bacon to advertise my affection.

When I first came to CCW, my coworker and self-appointed CCW lunch-wrangler Lisa raved to me about this old-school Italian deli she was ordering from for lunch and told me that I wanted The Godmother. She was right. Piled high with delicious cured meats, The Godmother is a monster of a sandwich on a crusty and chewy Italian bun. It takes at least 10 minutes to eat and is highly enjoyable. I give it 4/5 Genuine Italian Salami Links.
